What do you want to spray, the cover of the ash tray or the panel with the TC switch on?

There is a how-to explaining how to take the ashtray to bits if thats what you need. HOW TO by oddjob.

If you want to spray the TC panel it just unclips and pops out.

Is the TC panel not easy to take apart as when I spray it all together the button will also be sprayed and would rather spray the insert separately

What needs to be taken apart on the TC panel? If you just pop it out, you can unclip the button and push that off the panel, then spray the panel on its own.

Not sure on the TC button as don't have one, but if its anything like the window switches it should just push out.

It must push out somehow, as its not part of the panel + people retro fit the switches to the panel.

TC switch is held in place by 2 tags, they aren't very strong so pushing hard should dislodge the switch but to be safe just insert a screwdriver down from underneath and lever the sides away a little from the switch. Mines been out so many times I just whistle and it falls out. IIRC there are 2 silver tags, it's not those, it's the 2 others located left and right not top and bottom.

Ashtray one is easy, just follow the How-To and it's easy to get just the flap on it's own. You may need to get the frame isolated as well unless you intend to have the flap a different colour from the frame and cigar lighter surround.
