    Back Garden Wildlife

One afternoon, I was in the back garden tidying up. I picked up a brick and found this little dude underneath it. At first, I thought it had dried up and died under the brick, but it just hopped away. Looks big in the picture, but it was only about half an inch long. I had to get up real close to get this pic

Anyone here have visitors in their back garden?

Get frogs pretty regularly in our back garden, we have a pond with maybe about 30 or more coy, used to be well over 50 but our filter died and some of them died on us. We also put out food for a stray cat and occasionally a hedgehog comes along and eats the cat food

we'v got a resident hedgehog, he spent the winter curled up in a pile of leaves etc under an old Toyota Liteace thats parked round in my yard..

Also had a frog, but he was just on holiday i reckon as there's no water within half a mile from me..

Oh and we get ants... millions of them... do they class as wildlife for the purpose of this thread?

We have a pond, so get the random pond visiting creatures, including a heron recently.
And have 3 owls, in 2 different averies. There has been a regular wild bunny visiting a lot recently. He'd be sitting on the lawn every morning when we'd look out the window.
Untill we got rid of the ducks, he used to hang around with them too. Was funny to see. They didn't mind him at all. He even used to go back into the duck run with them too.
We did have chickens at the same time as the ducks, but got rid of them all as we were getting a few rats about the place.

We regularly see ducks (and ducklings at the moment), swans and a kingfisher in our back garden. Also randomly get a mole from time to time.
