    Throttle body

Does anyone here know how to remove the black plastic end cover off of the TB?
Its held on be numerous shiney chrome clips which look a pain to remove and was wondering if anyone has done this before in order to remove the butterfly and spindle. Or is it all classed as a completely sealed unit and attemtpted removal of these clips would knacker it?

Must be able to somehow as certain tuners 'invert' the butterfly, not sure how though - a while since I saw one!

Ok , managed to take the clips off without destroying anything!

Does anyone know if the butterfly is operated with the ignition on but without the engine running? i.e so i can see if the butterfly is indeed opening to its maximum deflection and not just partially opening.

if it doesnt, you should be able to ducktape the afm on top of the tb just to check, with no filter you should be able to look through.
