    foglights 1.7dti 52 plate

    I have bought an sxi front bumper to go on my 1.7dti just to make it look a bit better, wasnt gonna bother wiv functional lights but the loom already seems to be there, can anyone tell me what i need to do to get them to work?? is it just a case of getting the switch and maybe poppin a fuse/relay in somewhere???

    Thats pretty much all thats needed yes but before you get the bits check you have the contacts on where the fuse is meant to go

    think the fuse is all ready there. all thats needed is small black relay and the head light switch

    I was always under the impression that if lights were fitted they had to work as Simon-DTi mentioned above, but i had a BMW E36 that I put an M3 bumper on with foglights in, and i never wired them up, and it passed 3 mots whilst I had it without any probs.

    can anyone be a hero and tell me where abouts the relay goes??? Just i dont have the owners manual that tell you which is which. thanks

    Top row counting from the right to left you have one larger relay compared to the others then the rear fog light relay and noxt the front fog light relay. Might be labled up as K4

    The MOT test only checks obligatory equipment.

    I've heard elsewhere that all equipment fitted must work but the police can't check every optional item on every car.
