    quick components question

right i have read the previous thread about the how too and i didnt want to leave them in the door where they might get wet so i currently have crossovers in my door pockets lol

i saw the almost stiff poly stuff just wondering after cutting it out how did you then mount the x over to door card?

this was the first set i have ever fitted and my god what a difference they arent the most expensive but there we go i had a bit of trouble with the tweeter its alot bigger than the hole and i dont have a cutter so had to bodge it for now looks ok though

anything else i should look for as a poss problems?

I wouldn't actually mount them to the door card and rather to the door membrain with either a screw or some very good tape/ velcro

I have altered my installation (but still need to edit the how-to I did ) and have cut out a rectangle in the block of polystyrene thats behind the arm rest for the x-over. As I have made it a snug fit, the x-over doesn't require any fixing at all, meaning its easily reversible

hope this helps (and save you buying sticky pads as tbh I don't think they will stick that well unless u clean the door really well )
