    Handbrake handle

Seeing as the standard handbrake handle in the Zaf is crap quality i am going to replace it.

Whats the fitting, quality like on the alloy replacement handles from LMF??

I do believe fellow zafiran Moonman has a spangly handbrake , try sending him a PM as he may not look in this bit. I keep forgetting about this bit myself!

I do indeed have a spangly Richbrook Handrake and Gearknob from the authentic licensed Richbrook Vauxhall collection from LMF.

The hardest part was removing the oem parts, once that was done the Richbrook stuff just bolted on with a few grub screws and away to go. Whole job took 20-30mins in total. Just look at the how-to's on removing your oem bits. I know they are for the astra but the Zafira fitment is identical.

Here's the one for your gear knob....

    http://www.astraownersclub.com/docum...l/gearknob.pdf

As for your handbrake handle all you need to do is remove the gaiter from the bottom of the handle (it should just pull off as it's elasticated), and then use a sharp knife to cut through the hard plastic. Once you have cut the plastic just use a large flathead screwdriver to prise apart the two sides and it should just slide forward off of the metal underneath of the handle. The button is fixed to the metal part so dont worry about losing it. Your new one should then just slide over the top and sit it tightly against the button and do up the fixings. Then just slide the gaiter over the bottom of your new handle and your done. Oh and test it a lot before you go driving anywhere far.
