    How do i know?

i just got a confirmation email after buying from the "vauxhall tuning and performance" shop on ebay and the confirmation was an @lmfvauxh... account

plus the phone numbers are the same for credit card enquiries...

wonder why theyre doing that, surely theyre losing money on listing things twice??

I wasnt trying to say they were ripping anyone off, i just thought it strange to sell stuff on there twice, one at a lower price, i guess they usually sell the higher priced one anyways because of the high feedback score, or maybe theyre just trying to get a high feedback score for selling orther stuff on that account?

i dunno, just seemed strange to list things twice when once would probably suffice.

I imagine flooding the ebay market with your products under different aliases results in more sales. People are more inclined to make the purchase of an item listed at £60, if they see a competitor is selling the same thing at £70. It gives it more value. a better sense of a bargain.

also... you see lots of sellers selling the same thing, with an almost identical feedback rating, with identical 'payment instructions', and very similar descriptions etc. also same or similar location, and lots of other things. its probably done by loads of companies.
I bought a few things from 2 diff sellers one time, and figured they were the same seller, as there payment instructions were identical. the guy emailed back saying they were in fact different, so i couldnt combine the postage (pee'd me off). I paid for all items, and guess what, same sender address for both. Kinda a scam, but not.
