    how did i manage that?

    cleaned the car today, using the two bucket method and turtle wax nano tech shampoo.

    car looks great, rinsed it all off

    go for a spin and low and behold its covered in water marks. it now looks worse than before

    how do you guys get good results as im finding i have to wax my black car every week to achieve a shiny finish

    chamois leather leaves marks

    HELP

    You need to use the pat down method using waffle weave towels or microfibre cloths.

    the pat down jam? i presume that literally is as it sounds

    do i do this method whilst still wet too as surely it wont work dry

    Dark cars should be cleaned in the shade if possible, sheet the water off for the final rinse using an open hose, this will leave less 'standing' water on the surface. Then use a drying towel, not a chamois to dry the car.

    Any existing water marks may need to be removed by using a paint cleaner like Megs deep Crystal Stage 1, or a slightly abrasive polish.

    reckon id be ok to soak the car and apply this method? or best leave it now for next weeks wash :P

    Do it becs black corsa was drying before I had chance. I then wet it and used the pat down method (not wipe) and it worked a treat.
