    Storage of Detailing Products

Right, I've just been and spent some money on detailing products for my car. This made me think about storage, what do you lot use to store polishes etc, and more importantly, micro fibre cloths and things?

I'm getting a PC next month, but i've just been and taken advantage of halfords 3for2 offer, I got some NXT Wash, Megs stage 1,2 & 3 and a few microfibre towels and a new megs wash mitt. I'm actually looking forward to cleaning my car, I feel a bit sad! lol!
Sold my Astra to buy a house.

Once I've washed the cloths Microfibre / cotton towels ect I put them in carrier bags keeping detailing and cleaning cloths away from each other. Then store them in a cool dry place.

As for the waxes there just in the shed. I give them a bloody good shake though before I use them again.
    Its a jam thing

Does storing them in a bag help them stop dryng out? How do you wash microfibre cloths, just in the washing machine, on a normal setting?

Yes but don't use fabric conditioner - it ruins them

Keeping them in plastic bags avoids any dirty/dust getting on to them. Also if the missus moves them and accidentally hits the floor it won't matter.

    Right, Just got in.

    So far..

    1. I washed the car with fairly liquid, to remove the old wax etc
    2. I washed the car with my new NXT Wash - Great Stuff!
    3. I've done the paint cleaner on half of the car

Its looking great! All the light swirl marks are going, although I NEED a pc to remove the deeped swirls and scratches

Rest to follow tomorrow! With photos!
