    urgent brake advice

Hi, since swapping my 16s with 19s the standard vaux brakes have been struggleing to say the least.Im sure the fronts especially need replacing as everytime i need to brake hard i can smell them burning up. Im on a budget though as ive just booked a holiday,so i saw these and they look good to be honest.Am i right in this assumption or will i have to bite the bullet and spend £500 plus on pot 4s? Any help appreciated. cheers

couldnt you get a set of used vxr calipers and disks of some one who is upgrading? A big improvment of uprated disks tbh.

What wheels have you gone for? got any pics?

changing the wheels should have made no difference to the braking of the car well almost no difference. You probably have a fault such as your disks are too then so putting new standard disks and pads in will most probably do the trick
