Astra Van. 1.7 . Vacuum pipe help.

    Hi All,

I had a 'Runaway Diesel' a couple of weeks ago after my neighbours decided to help fix my van. Turns out it was only a split leak off pipe but has since turned into a complete disaster.

Basically they discarded the leak-off blank and connected a new pipe to my vacuum system. The engine then filled up with diesel and thats when the 'Runaway ' occured. Very very frightening .

I'm now stuck with missing pipes and for love nor money can't find a diagram to properly redo my vacuum layout. My local vauxhall was very helpful but they didnt have a map of the layout either. Tried a Haynes manual but that only showed the 2.0l model.

If anyone could help I'd be over the moon

    My Astra is a -

    1999
    1.7 Diesel Turbo.
8 valve GM engine. ( GM is vauxhall I believe)

    Fingers crossed

    Pete.
