    roof lining cubby hole?????/

ive noticed my astra mk5 sporthatch has a panel that can be removed in the roof lining above the passenger/driver seats.
i removed the panel today and noticed just empty space
does anyone know what should go here on other trims for instance, because the first thing that came into my mind was a small flat screen and dvd etc etc.

I wonder if the roof consoles the same for the sports hatch and normal 5 door. If so it's likely the sunroof motor will go there and you would be able to get to it to manually close it should it go wrong

You can do it, someone on another forum has fitted a 7" tft screen in that space, had to fabricate flip down brackets but it looks kinda cool. If you could get it to sit perfectly flush then its got to be worth a shout.
