    Standard actuator.

I know this has probably been asked a load of times but I was wondering how far people have adjusted their actuator to take up any slack?

I fitted an FMIC on friday and thought i would tweak the actuator to see if there was any improvement, I gave the nuts 2 full turns to reveal extra threads at the bottom of the rod which seem to help a little bit at higher revs.

How far have people wound theirs up?

All i did was adjust the nuts, I did not touch the wastegate at all, is this right?

Be veyr carefull when doing this as you could well cause det then your left with a rebuild. You could be boosting more than you can take.

your engine wont melt from an overtightened actuator! if the pressure gets too high, the ecu opens the dv to limit the boost and goes into safe mode.
