I have done a lot of searching on this topic, however I feel that I have some additional questions that need some specific advice.
I am looking at doing the 2.2L Airbox or 1.9CDTi Airbox mod on my 2004 Astra SRi Turbo.
However after doing some research I have found out that with the 2.2L Airbox it positions the AFM (Air Flow Meter) very close to the Turbo. It has been said that this causes "Pulsing", any idea what that is?
From what I have read only the 2.2L Airbox mod suffers from pulsing due to the position of the AFM. Given that the 1.9CDTi assembly only positions the AFM about 5cm futher away, does it make that much of a diiference. Or does it actually effect both?
Is it more to do with heat, as with the 2.2L Airbox it does position the AFM directley over the Turbo.
