Arrived back in the uk yesterday for a short stay before returning to China on Wednesday. It's usually a boring affair to go through the post at my folks, but this time something a bit unusual to say the least!
I have been sent a final demand for a parking ticket in Cardiff in the middle of January - yet I was in China, and the car firmly on a ramp at Courtenay in Norfolk!
Looking into it further the reg is the old reg from the 888, only on the car for about 3 weeks when I first had the car - before I put the private plate on it, although the car type on the parking ticket is a vauxhall Astra.
Now I have dug out all the documentation, I have the original certificates for the plate change etc, and various 3rd party evidence like Car tax reminder letters, MOT's, registration documentation etc etc with the new reg on it.
So what's going on? Obviously something dodgy, and there is no way that I will have to pay the ticket - but anyone else had this kind of experience?
