    Replacing MAF with VXR unit

    Hi,

Quick question for you all, going to replace my standard ZLET MAF Sensor with a VXR unit. I know you need to change some piping, but can't find what.

    Does anyone know?

    Cheers

    Chris

To fit the vxr afm onto the zlet you need to get 80mm hoses instead of the standard 70mm hoses. To gain the most out of the vxr afm you would need to get the software fitted aswell.

Had my standard afm replaced with vxr afm with uprated software from Regal and its made a massive difference! Cost me £400 all in (vxr afm, 80mm hoses & software) not cheap but well worth it if your looking to modify more at a later date

Probably will not go past TMS Stage 2 - was thinking about just having stronger parts, but only if it's not hugely expensive!

Will it run OK without remap?

As far as im aware there shouldn't be any problems running xvr afm on standard software, like I said you probably just wont gain any benefits from the vxr afm over the standard zlet afm.

Its hard to stop at stage 2, I tried...... but stage 3.5 here i come!!!
