    Improving the 2.2 Sri

Are there any ways other than changing the filter or exhaust in order to improve performance on the 2.2 Sri engine?

GM in america destroked the 2.2 down to 2.0 before they supercharged it, and I assume it was for a very good reason - maybe becuase it's long stoke engine.

For less cash you can stick throttle bodies on it, achieve a similar output, and best of all retain the NA throttle response. Hummm, FS5 maybe

Talking of America. I was on looking at manifolds (they call them headers) on USA Ebay.

For the 2.2 they are about $200 delivered to your door!!! Cheap as chips.

Does anyone know if they do one for the z18xe (or x18xe1)???

Whip it out and put a Z20LET in? (joke!)

Personally I would follow Ffoegs 2.2 bible. It's definitely made me like the 2.2 a lot more.

If you're gonna whip any engine out, consider sticking a Z20NET in instead.

It's a destroked 2.2 with a turbo hanging off it . So it should relativley easy.

    Hummm, FS5 maybe
