Haven't seen the 888 since Sept....

....and won't see it at the weekend when I'm back in the uk for 3 days .

so thought I'd post some rare pics to remind myself what it looked like.....

Sad I know - sorry if they bore you guys - but really starting to miss the old girl now - - be another 3 months before it's finished phase 1 - if I'm lucky!

Just think when it's ready it'll be worth it, and then u can spend your money on other things

Yeah gearbox is in, as is the vxr gearlinkage etc, lightened vxr flywheel, clutch, driveshafts etc - just waiting for the lsd on the gearbox side. Cylinder head is off to be gas flowed (prodrive ), forged conrods and bolts fitted etc - but loads more yet to do - was really hoping that it would be finished this stage by now so that I could drive it at Easter - but not to be.....

As Kev_MK3 said those wheels look far better than the standard fit OZ items. Sure it will be worth the wait in the end though.

I really must be the only person who prefers the O.Z. wheels.

Then again I really like O.Z. wheels and always have done.

I know alot of people grow weiry of seeing certain wheels on certain cars so maybe over time people have got sick of the O.Z's on 888's?

How comes u didnt pick the blue 888 4pot's?

Yes - cams are being changed too - but not the valves, same company that does the prodrive subaru head work.

Agree totally on the wheels - brings the car up to date, couple of others have done it since. Worth it? dunno yet - will have to stay in China for a full 6 months extra to pay for it I rekon
