    Help Needed

I have just got the car back from the bodyshop, had the side and boot sprayed, but the paint on the rest of the car is now really dry and no shine. Just polished and waxed it and its not that much better

Its on the upward facing paint that this has happend

Any ideas on what had caused it and how i can fix it

This whole spraying has caused me nothing but problems and has really got me down

It just sounds like slight overspray stuck to the paint. I'd use brasso wadding to shift that, but the detailing anals will suggest ScracthX, or clay

It'll be either the lacquer or colour coat dust (or both), but just use the abrasive compound of your choice to get it off and back to the original lacquer layer

Yeah, don't use scratch X - it's crap for stuff like this

T-cut or any other paint restorer will do the job much better

Yeah that should do it, it's actually slightly milder than normal "red" t-cut. It's for old skool metallic that didn't have a lacquer coat on, but will work fine on laqueur

    go carefully tho
