    Corsa 07 Rims

Hey guys, ive been looking to change my steelies for a while now, but because i havent yet done any body work im still tryna keep the standard look, which led me to the 2007 Corsa rims which are 16"

Just wanted to check, will these be a straight fit (my LS is a 4stud aswell) and has anyone fitted these to an astra yt, piccies pleasse if they have.
    Thanx guys

They should fit although I think the tyres will be of a lower profile compared to the std Astra size. Which may make the wheels look very small.
    Previous Astras: 1994 Cesaro 1.8 16v | 2002 SXi 1.6 16v | 2001 Coupé 2.0 Turbo | 1999 LS 1.6 16v
    Other Vauxhalls: 2001 Vectra 1.8 16v| 2003 Vectra GSi 3.2 V6 | 2005 Signum CDTi 150

the wheels will fit but tyres are wrong size. From memory my hatch had 205/50/16's on it.

If those pictured are the exact ones then whack em on and make the most of the quality tyres.....when they need replacing then maybe consider upgrading to the correct size for the G- 205/50/16 iirc

Other than that everything else is spot on - PCD, centre bore, offset etc

They are nice rims, although aren't some new Corsa's coming with 4 stud 17's on them. Would still go with your keeping it standard idea.

Thanks guys, one thing though, if these are 195/55/16 and the astras are normally 205/50/16, what does it mean? From what i understand, the 2nd number is the tyre to rim ratio, so on the corsa rims, there'd be a higher profile...is this right? and what does the first number represent? Any1 know how much these rims are from a dealer aswel, jus out of interest

the first number is the width of the tyre in mm's
the second is the aspect ratio (ie a percentage of the width)
the third is the diamater of the rim

    195/55/16 =
    195mm wide
    55% of 195mm = 107.25mm (height of side wall)
    16" rim

Nothing to worry about fitting this tyre - if anything it may make the speedo mis-read ever-so-slightly tho - nothing at all to be concerned about and the wheels may look a little out of place in the arch. Going from a 205/50/16 to 195/55/16 would only result in a 1.55% difference, a 9.5mm difference in diamater & 29.84mm increase in circumference... In the real world this means that at 70mph (indicated on speedo) you would infact be travelling at 71.08mph...... Saying that, most speedos are inaccurate anyway so it really isnt gonna cause many problems - especially as speed traps have tolerances for speedo inaccuracies.

Apart from that I say get em if u like them and the price is right. The rims pictured look good especially the tyres so as I said before, fit them and make the most of the good tyres - when new rubber is required upgrade to the correct size.

No idea on price at dealers but a quick call to ur local dealer would confirm
