    handbrake gaiter.

    How do you change the handbrake gaiter please, bearing in mind, i have the armest.

    Remove the armrest as I promise you, you won't do it with it still in place. Its been a while since I did mine. I think I removed the ODBII port cover then I think I just prised it out from there.

    I just removed the plastic panel from under the handbrake and then pulled the gaiter boot and i came out. you will need to remove the armrest though

    OK, rather than make a new thread, I just dug up this old one

    Anyways, that little panel under the hand brake, how does it come off?

    Once that's off, is there screws or something I need to remove so I can remove the hand brake gaiter?

    Pull it up on the gear gator side then there are 2 screws underneath ... see below: (stole the image from another thread - not my car )

    One of us have misunderstood eachother I think, because the part that I need to remove is the one that you have already removed...

    I've replaced my handbrake gaiter since i've fitted my armrest.

    I can't remove the armrest and still did it, with no problems.

    You don't need to undo any screws, it should just unclip out.
