    Idea for touchscreen install

I'm been toying with the idea of a touchscreen/pc install, most of the installs that i have seen involve losing the air vents which i would like to keep, what do people think to doing this instead? although probably with a 16:9 screen so it wouldn't be as high.

...depends if you like the 'hunchback' look to your centre console

Would need the right size screnn to pull it off nicely.....go for it !

gona be annoying to use, unless your arms are long, wouldnt it be set back rather far to be able to use easily without taking concentration of the road?

This does look sweet! and i can see how it is in the right place, i'm just think that i may miss t he air vents, maybe i could find some small ones that would still fit above the screen . . .

Also i agree that it may distract me if i try to use it above the vents

I thought I would miss the vents too but after a few weeks you dont notice as the side vents can be turned in to you.

Try not using the centre vents for a while and see how you get on
