Question what the hell are these (pics)

when i came back from lunch i parked up in the hospital and noticed i was a few mins early to go into work and so i decided to take apart a little bit of my console (typical me starting things when i have no time!!!!)

anyway any suggestions greatly appreciated and any modding tips even more greatly accepted.

    quick search

    http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/showthread.php?t=525

In the Astra G, on the lowest part of the centre console, in front of the gear stick gaiter is a small plastic panel.

This panel houses your traction control button. (if car has TC)

If you remove the panel you will find 2 spare electrical sockets.

These are the sockets which would plug into the switches for the heated front seats. (if they were fitted)

(do a search and you will find all the info)

but in summary, most astras are prewired, but you need to fit all the heater elements to the seats (remove covers and put them im, around £80-100 per seat) plug them in the the wires under the seats, then get the switches (£25 each) the correct panel to hold the switches (around £5) then just some fuses and a relay and they will work,

    um...

every model is prewired for electric mirrors (not sure if you already have them)

cruise control, but need a clutch switch and new indicator stalk and a visit to vauxhall to plug it in their computer (tech2)

cant think of anything else im afraid,

Doubt you'll be missing the connectors - they might just be tucked up behind the console itself

If u didnt have them then youd need the full harness in addition to everything else

Do u actually want heated seats or are u just mentioning it cos u saw this thread?
