    Add a turbo

    I have a 2.0 sri on a v reg and wondered if i am able to fit the turbo and everything else off a gsi turbo engine.... Can it be done or do i need to think of someting else.

    will need pretty much the whole engine, cant just bolt a turbo on imafraid,

    you'd be better off @ getting a GSi engine mate.. To do that with the 2L SRi you'd need to change most of the engine internals to cope with the pressure of the uprated boost.. Dont get me wrong, the kits are out there and it can be done if you want to spend the time and money but end of the day it would be alot easier and probably cheaper to buy the C20LET or Z20LET engine..
    There's always room for improvment..
    Doesnt help that im just fussy..

    talk to tazman112! he is just be=reaking his project of the same converson! it ca be done but there is a lot of wiring looms to change too, dash loom, abs, tc, its all different
