    Intercooler's

I am thinking about changing my intercooler which which is the Courtenay front mounted 1 for the 1 which is in the group buy on here. But first would there be much if any of a gain in the performance? Would there be much of a pressure drop as i would be able to run 2.5" pipe work from the turbo to the throttle body. And is the build quality good?

If you want to save some money go for the group buy, if you want the better quality and more efficient go for the Courtenay one.

Ive been recently speaking with regal, and they do not advise the use of the intercooler which mounts in the bottom scoop of the bumper rather than at the side as they say it dramatically reduces the air flowing into the radiator therefore incresing the engine temp. Worth a thought. I was thinking about buying one also.

No offence, but can you build on these claims ?? If you can great no problems whatsoever. IC efficiency is the most important point with any design

The core design, it has been discussed on here many times.

I'll happily run my Courtenay cooler against one from the group buy any day.

I'm not saying the group buy one is bad, but you do get what you pay for.

What makes the core design superior ?? I'm genuinely interested as IC's seem to be abit of a blackart when it comes to design, pressure drops and construction
