    carbon canister

The faint ticking noise that seems to come from the drivers side of the engine bay only when the engine is under light load...is this the carbon canister i hear people talking about? And how do i cure it? The manifold is fairly new so im not blowing anywhere? Its just a bit annoying is all!

Oh! I wasnt sure weather it was suposed to tick in relation to the engine speed or not...i just remembered it being mentioned in here before and wondered is it was a potential problem or not! lol

Its the carbon canister solenoid. When it stops ticking then begin to worry. Whilst its ticking its working perfectly although mine sounds like a bloody diesel some days.
    Its a jam thing

Good! Its definately from around the airbox area...i can make it happen if i slip the clutch at about 3000rpm in 1st gear at a standstill but otherwise its only when im doing a constant speed and neither accelerating or decelerating. just wanted to make sure its not a sign it needed replacing or anything!
