Has anyone used a professional CV Writing company before? I'm looking at re-vamping my CV and was thinking about getting a CV professional written, any recommendations?
i wouldn't bother payin someone to do it - there's plenty of advice out there online 2 write your own CV. tbh a lot of businesses will be able to spot if a CV is professionally written. you will end up paying for a service then they will probably dismiss the application because they can't tell much about your personality from whats on the page..
IMHO a handwritten cover letter accompanying a well thought out CV in your own words will give you a better chance of getting looked at, particularly by bigger companies.
hope this helps.

CV's should really be done specifically for the post in question - it shows the prospective employer that you have actually put thought into it, rather than just bunged a generic one in thier direction. It's a pain to keep editing it, but it works so much better
