    Parrot CK3000 Evolution hands free hit

    I bought one of these puppies last night from halfrauds, and i want to install it into my MK4 SXi, bt ive just taken the radio out (standard vauxhall cdr500) and behind it is just the two iso connectors and the aerial that basically slot straight in(im sure you know what im on about), i just want to know how to install it with the wiring given

    The way i'd recomend you do it is with a seperate lead from autoleads that should be part number SOT-053.

    This just inter connects between the headunit connector and headunit giving you 2 ISO connectors to plug the parrot kit into

    Another way to do it is cut the vauxhall connector to seperate the larger top connector from the 2 bottom ones of the same size

    I have a CK3100 and you should be able to do it, but I'm guessing the problem is the plug to the radio display?

    Then I'd chop the top plug off the other two (not the plug from the wires!) so the Parrot can be plugged in to the speaker/power connectors and then fed though to the back of the head unit.

    The porblem is solvable without the need to buy anything more or cutting any wires.

    Yes it's solvable doing it that way but it would be a bugger to line back up in the cage as everything clips into that the way it is before

    Halfords offer free fitting with that kit! WOuldnt it just be easier and take it back and ask them to install! aslong as you have proof of purchase i shouldnt see a problem!

    Halfords charge for any extra leads that are needed although when it was against the law to use phones in cars to start with they were doing some real bodge jobs in our area that we had to put right
