Looks very nice mate, did you restore it yourself?
I restored one 10 yrs ago was a L/H drive and converted it to R/H, owed me £1000 when I sold it 2yrs later.

My old man bought it when he retired about 10 years ago. The guy he bought it off restored it from a rusty shell and we've added a few bits ourselves such as interior and a few engine bits. Got some white wall tyres to go on when it's taxed at the end of the month.

I'm guessing from the radiator & the tail end of reg plate your just out of the (free) classic road tax bracket is it a 72 or 73.

It's a 72. Yeah we just missed out with the tax. Still, it's only taxed for 6 months of the year anyway. Never goes out if there's the slightest chance of rain.

Very nice indeed! I too have an MGB, heres mine, I bought it when I was 14, for a mere £1200! I've had it for about 6 years now, converted it to chrome bumper, new engine, fitted spax kit, lowered it, fitted mg zr seats, V8 wheels. Its not perfect, but its nice for summer fun!! I had hundreds of photos, showing everything i'd ever done to it, but they got lost when my old hard drive packed up!

Heres my dads V8 and the green one we went halfs on last year, roadster V8! Currently swaping the bumpers and sorting out a few problems.

All in the garage! Its a bit tight!

All due back on the road in May
Sold my Astra to buy a house.

    Now drive a 205 GTI 2.0 16v

    Cheap and Chearfull!

I bought my BGT for a little bit of fun last summer, it made a nice change from the astra when the weather was nice.

Once the MOT and tax ran out i decided to take her off the road and begin a fairly major rebuild. Well that was last september, and i have only in the last month realy made any progress on the project.

But i have spent an awfull lot of money on her allready, as i had no major tools to speak off i have had to buy a set of mig welding equipment, tools, a 2.5hp 50ltr compressor, Spray gun, air tools and jacks etc, about £800 so far.

As for parts i have sitting ready to fit, new rear wing, completly new lighting for the front right back to the rear bowls including halogen convesion, indicators and grill, oh and 6 Litres of British Racing Green Celly paint and primer.

Next on my shopping list is new carpets and all new rear lights new windscreen. Over the last couple of weekends i have been stripping the car down, at the moment there is no interior at all and all glazing is out, doors removed, hatch removed, basically down to a rolling shell with engine.

I have to build a car port this weekend so that i have somewhere to work on her as i don't like getting wet.

Will post some more pics if i remember to take any.
