An Irmy box would tone it right down mate. They are not really made for performance they are made for looks so they are about as performance orientated as the original one it came out the factory with.

The centre section really does dampen down the noise alot so replacing it with a straight through was always going to be loud but coupled with a sportex back box I guess its really loud.

Personnally I'd drop the original centre section back on sell the remus straight through and save up for a Blueflame cat back system. The you can specify the look and how loud you want it to be.

Blue flame build your exhaust for you to your specifications. There are no exhaust controllers I'm affraid. They seem to give good performance gain as well as look perfect and come with a 3 year warranty.

I'm looking at getting one for my 1.6 CAT back. I don't want it to be too loud so I want some sort of middle box but I want a twin round exit at the rear that doesn't look too big or out of place.

Prices vary depending on what you want. But I'd budget £200-£300 I recon.
