    i just bought a vxr one rob so will let you know when fitted, will do it myself on friday when i get home, still got your one if you need it mate,

    I fitted one and the engine pick up was sharper at lower revs/ boost, but it could be because the old one was naff, dont know how a new one would compare.

    My mate had one on his Mk4 GSI with Phase 3 but high up the rev range the boost dropped all the way down to 13psi

    he now runs a -34 and holds 17psi/18psi all the way 7000rpm

    would you be able to run a vxr actuator on a standard zlet or would it run weak car has regal intercooler full regal exhaust but standard map

    AFAIK, it can be run on the std zlet turbo.

    I brought one off ebay brand new and got thorney motorsport to fit it. I've got a phase 1 so its more powerful anyway but guy said running nicely. Holding 13 psi no problems and overboosting to 17psi. Changed my solenoid 2. Now its nice and smooth again. i say do it, but only if your gonna get a remap. Otherwise standard actuator would be fine.
    Regal Phase 1 + Intercooler
    270BHP 300ftlb And Nothing Else, All standard
