    Question Angel eye cover removal???

Has anybody managed to remove the lens from Mk4 dark angel eyes??
Is it a tough job or is it relatively easy?? What do you do??
I have an idea based on the Regal white VX220 car which had both front and rear lenses removed.
I've seen standard lights with craply added halo rings so do the lenses have to be removed for that mod??
    Any info welcomed.

Speak to Leegsi mate - he has his removed and painted, sure he'll be along soon enough. As far as I am aware, a session in the oven to soften the adhesive is all that is needed to pull them apart - sounds like a messy job, but worth is for some of the results.

Hot air gun to soften the glue stuff where the clear bit joins the black plastic and pull apart as it softens.

Took about 1/2 hour a light to take apart
