am i asking a fair price?

    on my car in classifieds

theyre still going for around 5500-6000 standard, maybe 01 model but with higher miles (20k in some cases)

tbh i dont think im asking too much, am i? £5800 for my x reg coupe 18's full ice lowered VVGV..

just not a lot of interest so far that worries me..only advertised on here and corsasport.co.uk mind

I would have said thats abit high tbh!

A car with full ICE and lowered is only going to appeal to a small minority, i personally feel when lookin at cars i prefer standard everything then i change what i want in the knowledge its been done properly.
    But thats just my opinion.

you might struggle shifting at that price. Mine just went for 5k and was a 2003 model 12months MOT (quick sale to get new car)

Try putting it back to standard and selling the mods.

£5800 is a bit high for the year, that is Turbo money for the same reg.

Perhaps sell the parts and put the car back to standard.

    Edit:

Looking on Autotrader there is a 2003 1.8 with 29k on the clock from a dealer for £5500, definately think about altering your price accordingly.

put back to standard and lower the price a fair bit.

Have you noticed how everyone is happy to mod their own car, but would rarely consider buying one that has been 'messed about with'?

as said more people want a standard car so a modded one will only apeal to a small amount of people.

If you advertise to "non-enthusiasts" then modifications will reduce the price, however tasteful and well fitted.

Im thinking of selling my coupe... 2001/Y 2.2 for £3500-3750.... (high mileage tho) so I think you need to ajust your prices... mods dont usually add to the price, if anything they will reduce the price and/or deter potential buyers.
