    bonnet vents

    hi all,
    i remember a while back now there was a post up here with a silver sri t with bonnet vents an black loys!!!!! was lookin sweet.
    its comin up to summer an as ive got my sri t now i wanna do sum stuff.
    has anyone got any ideas how i would go about puttin some vents in my bonnet??? any views or ideas please

    get a pickaxe (blunt will suffice), and lay into it. works a treat.

    lol i was contemplating givin it to a bodyshop but i was wonderin if there was a feasable way i could do it, would feel a hell of alot better knowin i did it myself!!!!! was thinkin of the cosworth vents

    It'd have to be resprayed afterwards. Also if you screw it up then its you who will have to pay for a new bonnet. If they screw it up they will have to pay.

    I know what I would do.

    Have you thought about Louvres in the bonnet? I think 888Rich has them in his. Maybe a better option to stop water dripping in on your electrics?
