    Short shift fitted

Finally got round to fitting my short shift only had it ages lol

I got this one off of eBay

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SHORT...spagenameZWDVW

Went together with no problems really apart from I had to go get a C clip for retaining pin.

But has any one else fitted one as me and my mate cant figure where the second rubber O ring goes ??

    bottom O ring ??

    cheers

ps. it make a massive difference

The bottom o-ring isn't needed - it's for a different type of gear knob

I didn't get a c-clip either, so I stuck the OE one back in

It should be a F23 gearbox (Reveres bottom right) the same as Neils one

Looks like a nice bit of kit Neil. I have the linkage one on mine and it now feels as it should from the factory.
