    look under your car at the point where the exhaust is joined. if there are two plates either sides with bolts through it, its a flange, if its smooth join with one pipe bigger and over the topd of the other pipe, its a sleeve joint.

    i no this looks stupis but the fitting on the back box i have just brought is like ( anf when it joins to the other side it ends up like () then there is a bracket that goes round

    Irmscher it come off a astra mk4 bug i thought it was same fitting as mine but i looked and it isnt
