Couple of pics of my Corsa D SXi

I picked up the Corsa from Pomphreys this morning, shame about the weather but...

Will do some side & front shots over the weekend, seemed to have a bit of camera shake tonight

That looks gorgeous in black. Whats it got the 1.3CDTI engine? Very nice car. I'm so envious I love the new car smell.

    How does she handle?

    Yes it's the 1.3 CDTi.

I've been taking it quite easy today as I'm not used to the diesels, or big brakes, but with the damp roads as well when I did give her a push, she did very well. Will most probably feel a bit more confident over the weekend, so I'll keep you posted

Have frightened myself a couple of times today, when the engine wants to kick it really kicks I don't think I want to know what the 1.7CDTi is like, I think this is more than enough for me to handle

    Some more interior piccies...

I think the glove box is only designed for the handbook and the locking wheel nuts, although when in the down position it can take one drinks container and it looks like it can take possible a special knife and fork as well, maybe a spoon (is this a Vxl extra??)

Everything else can go in the drawer under the passenger seat, well as long as your not putting in more than 1.5kg! It doesn't pull all the way out so I'm not sure what you do if something rolls to the back! Will be investigating what I can do with the boot soon, as it has a false floor - I can see some ICE nuts having fun with it.

Seering wheel is comfy, with added creature comforts Now if only they'd do that with the light controls I'd be happy! Although I sit fairly close, I've only got little arms so reaching to turn the lights on is a pain

The rear seats look fairly comfy, and roomy (well with me driving anyway) but haven't tested this out yet

And the mini Corsa window... Not sure what purpose this serves, but it's handy for me to put my works parking permit in ;D

Looks well not seen too many D's on the road but of the ones I have seen they are massive :|

Quite interested in the Corsa VXR when it comes out.

    I spy Bluewater

I've only seen one black Corsa D going up to London on the A2, and I know of a silver one in Medway but other than that, not really many about. They are definately deceptive in size.

Yup, Bluewater Best lit carpark around
