Pads advice for my 888 please!

Well pads are nearly gone after 60k miles.

It's about £120 for front/rear pads as they were new (Ferodo Fronts and Std rear).

I thought about Green Stuff, which are around £106, but many do not rate the compound and it can wear discs heavily.

Lot of people rate OMP pads, and I can get them from YBRacing for about £85.

So do I stick with std as before, Green Stuff or OMP?

Any other suggestions ? (Forget uprated discs as the wife would kill me and car needs a service/mot, as well as new pads)

Just what i was about to post regarding my GSI. You see, it pays to read sometimes before posting. " birds with one stone.
I'd wondered about the Dust Free factor of Greenstuff ones.

I found Greenstuff to wear the discs badly too. They are less dusty than standard pads.

Personally I'd stick with the Ferodo's mate.

Spoke to the guy at Online Autosport/Tuning at Lichfield.

He agreed that Green Stuff pads were ok but not great and that OMP were better than a std pad. Shame as the OMP front pads for 308mm discs are only £39. Which is good when they are rated better than green stuff.

He also said that he had used the Ferodo DS2000 on track and none of the other pads came close for fade resistance. The DS2500 are supposedly even better than those, so it's a bit of a no brainer really.

He basically said it's worth the difference in price for the Ferodo's.

So I will get my Dad's trade card and get the pads from VX.

VX do want £106 for fitting them though and F1 auto centre will do the same for £70, so you know what I'm going to do :-)
