    help needed please

    ive wired my front speakers to an amp but now when i fade the sound from the rear speakers they crackle and hiss like there blown but when its faded back there fine any ideas ?


    fronts are off a 2 ch amp and rears are off alpine headunit

    I've not heard of that one before and i'd expect it to do it all the time

    front and rear but still does it ? lol its driving me mad it run front and rear fine before i wired the amp up to the fronts ?

    anything i can try ?for now ive disconnected the rears and the fronts fine. but thats not the answer i want lol

    Check all over your amp wiring then making sure your earrths fine and the powers getting through alright from the battery and make sure you haven't cross wired any speakers

    Make sure any EQ on the headunits set up fine for the front speeakers and also any sort of filter on the amp

    would that have anythin to do with the rear speakers then ?i'll check the wires over but why would the earth for the amp make the rear speakers do that ? im gonna pull it all apart again and see but its so long n borin

    are you using crossovers between your amp and speakers if not its becase the amp is trying to play bass and treble at the same time have a fidle about with the amp while they are making the noise

    im using crossovers on the fronts but the hissing sound is comin from the rears which r coaxials run off the headunit?

    it sound like theres a lot of noise in ya system, with out checkin the system myself i couldnt really help but it sound like you havent earthed everything properly
