    this might sound stupid

hi i know this might sound stupid but what is needed to fit a:

    1) a gsi front bumper to a 1.6 sxi astra mark 4

    or

    2)a sri-turbo bumper to a 1.6 sxi astra mk4

as i remeber reading that the gsi bumper needs some extra part at the bottom????? or am i wrong and they just change straight over!!!!!

    cheers for the help

Depends where you get the bumper. If you get it new from LMF (best option TBH) then you get everything needed.

straight fit - nowt to worry about.

the only thing i can think of is that the GSi bumper doesnt have the securing flap on the underside as standard (the bit with the 3 push clips that secures it onto the subframe) - obivously if ur gettin a GSi bumper 2nd hand then more than likely it will be supplied. If not no major hardship.

thanks try to keep everything OME (Origional Manufacturs Equipment) with few twists,
They are team dynamic Pro Race 1.2s (17"s) with Toyo 215/40/17 tyres but i am upgrading them soon to 215/45/17 to get more grip (they will end up being the same diamiter as a 18" alloy with 225/40/18 tyres), they are also lightwhight (only 7.4KG) which helps handleing and aceloration.

if you look at my link you can see the other stuff I have done

Depends if its the whole bumper or just the lip. If its just the lip then it will go straight on your original bumper. If you buy it from LMF, as mentioned before, they supply you with the fitting kit aswell
    Gaz

    No longer owns an Astra

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring
