Post How does a remaped Astra turbo compare to standard?

Hi, i'm still umming and rrring about getting my coupe turbo chipped.

Problem being i'll be getting a company car in 3-6 months (as the benefits are too good) and don't know if spending the £400 will be worth it for these precious months!

I've got the car near mint condition and it will hard to see her go.

never had my car remapped yet but tbh if your selling up in 3-6 months i wouldnt bother as itll prob be worth more in standard form, so not worth it,

if you were keeping it then would be good but from what i am trying to do and what ive been told best to leave the remap until you have done every other mod you have planned so the map can take them into account and make the best of your engine,

Waste of money imo mate - you won't get the money back when you sell it, and it might even put some potential buyers off.

It's a fantastic mod - best bang per buck by far off all the various 'stages' in my humble opinion BUT

total waste of money if you will only have the car for another 3-6 months. A year maybe but less than that, you'd be mad! The map could be put back to standard very easily by the way so it would not cause any (extra) grief selling it on.

But don't do it - you won't have time to enjoy it as much as you should!!

In any other situation i would reccomend it but if your selling up soon it will be pointless. Just spend the £400 on yourself instead.

Good advise guys. You see, I know what I should do but the "I want" is in my head.

I think i'll just go out and buy myself a new coat or have a cold shower or something...
