Fitting cruise control to a Mk5 CDTi?

Work are getting me a new company car but I need an estate. Only the Elite model comes with cruise control as standard - but you can't get an estate Elite! The car will be nearly-new used not brand new so I don't fancy my chances finding a 1.7 or 1.9 Design with the cruise control option fitted.

Has anyone fitted it themselves? I gather it should be as 'simple' as getting the stalk and the switches for behind the pedals, then getting it activated in the ECU by a Tech 2.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
