ive thought about them but, the phase one software is said to give nearly 40bhp on its own, so you fit the cam then get the software on top and obviously isnt going to give 80bhp, and at best would get 50bhp-ish so in theory the cams only really gave 10bhp not 40bhp?

or am i on completly the wrong track?

surely its mid ground you will pick up the bhp and not the top end though so it may well be 40bhp at a lower rev ?

dont suppose anyone would happen to have rr graphs before and after ?

But where did the standard kick you get at 3500rpm go?

It doesn't give you any extra peak bhp or torque from what I can tell. It pushed the torque up the rev range a little making the car less fun to drive normally. The idle is horrible now, really lumpy. The only pay off is that it holds the bhp for longer, so you can sprint faster.

If I was rebuilding my engine I'd probably take it out, but as it is, I can't be bothered to remove it as it pretty much gives what it takes away. The money is probably better spent on a Milltek cat instead.

The 40bhp and 40lb.ft peek increase is simply BS IMHO. No doubt Regal would argue that it is because I am using CS software, but their advert says nothing about needing special software for the cams.
