    air feed opinions??

which is best, either veccy c upgrade pipe.?

or hack away bumper, and cold air feed from here, but loose symetry of car?

    or even both.

if do the bumper mod will mesh a square and spray black so blends a bit better and fit black pipe behind so doesnt stand out as much?

    what do you think?

anyone else had a play.... cheers.

no point doing a poll tbh as most take the feed from the normal place (behind the grill).

What filter set up are you wanting to use and what are you trying to achieve?

standard de-restricted box with pipercross filter already in.

due bonus soon and want to get re-map, but wanna sort some other, inexpensive mods before getting it in..

at mo it just the filter, de-restricted box and full cat back stainless.

any other things to suggest before remap.?

The more pipework you have between atmosphere and engine, then the slower it will be going, hence the less oxygen you get in, which means less fuel, and less go...

You'd be better off getting your TB milled out to a bigger diameter, fitting new (larger) silicon hoses between airbox and TB (fitting a larger bore AFM) and smoothing the inside of the airbox. Then with the Veccy C pipe (a Super Ffoeg design one if possible) with some large bore pipe between that and the airbox.

There's more work there - but you'll get better results than a cold air feed from behind the lower grill.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack - but how much would getting the throttle body bored to a larger size cost in total?

Most cars dont have the luxury of having a short intake that sits just behind the front grill with no other mods so i would say the vec C pipe and de-restriction of the box. Thats what i have done and it looks no different from the outside as a bonus.
