Decided to give my black alloys a polished lip...

...went for the DIY approach. Very easy mod to carry out, was cheap as well!!

Got Wicked Wheels coming out on Thursday to put it right

Dunno mate, never used Chips Away. Wicked Wheels are set up just for refurbing wheels so I would of thought they do a better job.

ooh not good. I've had my alloys on since July last year and i'm dreding the day that I see that. I'm so careful, but the only parking near us is on the road, so got to parallel park everyday and I swear the curb moves everyday, they are after me

I'm fine with parking, thats not the issue.

The problem is when I go on 'spirited drives' and have to go around roundabouts. I thought the exit was sharper than it really was, got a little close and just nipped it.

Barely felt it in the car.

Ahh I see...I have done that before in my old Nova, but I was lucky to get away with less damage than that. Glad you'll get it sorted soon, Loving the alloys btw.
