This one is of Mark (mentalmarky)

This one I did from a photo of bettie page I found on the net

They're very good. Better than some I've seen from graduates from painting, drawing and sculpture schools.

I like the one of Bettie especially

    Thanks guys...your comments are appreciated
I like the bettie page one too, but there were soooo many photos to choose from, I guess I chose that one because its not a typical Bettie pose

May look into painting some more.

    They look really good.

Laura has done lots of drawing too. She mainly does portraits but did a few car pictures when she was a lot younger.

Thanks, i'm not sure what to do next....The way I did the previous ones is to get a normal photo and then edit it using adobe or even the internet based photo editor i found at www.picnik.com thats been quite handy. Anyway I edit them to get the black outline only and then freehand it on a larger scale.

Any ideas of photos would be appreciated, I have Tenacious D one I am going to attempt and then I will be hunting for some more.

How about some kind of sunset with a sillhouetted city skyline/trees or something?

I've not tried scenery yet, but I was thinking of doing something with an image of my car along those lines. the car and the foreground being made up of greys and blacks and the background being the full sunset effect..i'e reds through to oranges
