    Smoke / Burning Oil

When I get the mrs to put her foot down and release I get a big puff of smoke under the bonett and a smell of burning oil, I thought it was the intercooler but now i think it looks like its the pre cat pipe (not sure if thats the right name of the pipe, it has a oxygen sensor on it?) anyways it looks like the pipe might have crack down the edges.

    Anyone heard of this before?

Yeah there was a case on here a few weeks ago, pretty rare but can happen. However, it should not cause you to be burning oil, just venting exhaust, so I'd be looking for further problems somewhere - like blown turbo seals for example.
