    Talking Cosworth -34 Actuator fitted

Thanks to Jamesmurray for the help before I start

Ordered a Cossie 4x4 -34 actuator from Motorsport Development. http://www.remapping.co.uk/ yesterday it came first thing this morning so great service there.

I already had the Courtenay uprated one so had the braket from that which made life really easy. The only thing I had to do different from James was I tap and die the thread down to M6 so I can use the 10mm nuts as I think the 2wd Cossie ones are already M6 plus it gave me a little more to play with.

fitting was stright forward and was bolt and go but I used a slight longer hose from the solenoid to the actuator because it now faces the rad which I robbed of my mates old turbo .

Garrett -34 compared to Uprated Courtenay one

    Courtenay bracket

    all fitted

first boost run hit 1.94bar overboost so that got backed off stright away lol. The boost comes in and is so smooth now with no boost fluctuating. Ended up with overboost 24/25psi held 16/17 and it does hold very well right up into triple figures.

Only down side I can see is it doesnt come with a bracket.

Do Courtny sell the bracket only?

I was think it was over kill but after speaking to Turbo Dynamics I went for one. But I do run CS4.

The power delivery is really smooth and I love it, I have got a rolling road day next week so will see what it has done and double check fueling etc
