    peugeot 206 gti

    does anyone own or no much about these i got told there not as fast as they were made out to be but i had a 1.6 xsi and i loved it so im guessing this will be nippy 138bhp not bad but would love the 180 version any info cheers

    They aint fast by todays standards but they are nippy enough. The 206 is built from tissue paper and old washing up bottles though.

    yes i got told similar lol i like the 106 and the 206 gti but i wana get one as a little project so i might get the 106 gti cheers

    what kind of project, like a track project or daily driver? 106gti would be cool, i've never driven one, but have driven the 206 gti 180 version, and to be honest i was far from impressed with the power..

    I normally like sporty French cars but I test drove one and thought it was poo TBH.

    the 180bhp one has nice seats as std
    not good cars if your over 5.8 if you ask me a bit small inside

    former PUG-fanatic ( I saw the light eventually ) butting in here

    I started with a 206 1.6XS tuned to 130bhp then moved onto a GTi 180. never tuned that so not sure of capabilities but in all honesty is was quick enough for me having made the step up from the 1.6...

    106GTi is another good option though - its a quality little car handles like a dream, you can throw it round corners and nothing of its size/class will keep up.

    my advice is to do the rounds and see if you can test drive everything you're interested in. its all personal preference mate.
