    Biggest alternator I can fit??

My alternator is slowly giving up, as is my poor old battery. The battery is going to be replaced with Optima Yellow Top

What is the biggest alternator I can fit to my 1.8 Coupe?

Ideally I want a direct replacement, no modding or sodding around.

    Any ideas?

Sounds like it should do the job.

Does anyone know what the rating is of the OE Alt?

probly fit but dont think there any bigger you need the 120amp one to upgrade easaly other than that your due a custom rewind to get huge upgrades also you will probly need a new belt
my m8 had a car with all the stereo in it whenever the bass hit the aux belt squelled as the alt was under more strain always made me laugh

Yeah my belt squeaks like a good'un aswell so best get a new one

Split charging isn't really an option due to competition rules, it would be a real arse ache.
